My Review of "Ale Beershooter/Biershooter"

Ale Beershooter/Biershooter (Rated 17+)
From Handy-Games
Follow @handy_games on Twitter

When Ale Beershooter finishes it's initial loading screen, you're greeted with a cheerful German Polka Tune, which is totally appropriate for the festivities that are about to take place in this wonderfully delightful app from Handy-Games. As the game begins you see a crowd of approximately fifteen happy festival-goers sitting at three picnic tables. The countdown then quickly begins.

This is where the festivities get underway. One after another these merry festival patrons stand up from the table, or turn in their chairs to face the Biertender(you) and shout(in German) for a refreshing blast of "Bier", from a beer shooting nozzle at the bottom of the screen. Who hasn't wanted this type of apparatus at a party, am I right? The point is made quickly as you click on party guests and beer shoots across the screen into their waiting mouths.

This task seems simple enough, but the game does have some very interesting twists. First off the guests will pop up randomly and at varying speeds all over the screen. At any one time there can be as many as six or seven guests(including some "surprise" pop in guests) waiting for a blast from the beer nozzle. Secondly, be careful where you aim that beer nozzle, because a misplaced beer blast will cost you points. Matter of fact, any shot other than in a thirsty mouth will cost you points off your score.

Overall this is a very entertaining game with a high re-playability factor, which scores big points with a vast majority of iPhone gamers like myself. I recommend this game as a must have for anyone who enjoys a fast paced, hand-eye coordination, first person style "shooter". My review of Homerun Battle 3D(iPhone app)

This game is instantly addictive. From the first time the intro movie plays, until my iPhone battery dies(from hours of playing), this game is entertaining, challenging, and rewarding. There are plenty of challenges during the game which help to unlock upgrades for your slugger. The upgrades are pricey, but completing certain missions will handsomely reward you, putting the upgrades well within reach. That in itself is enough to encourage practice and determination to master this game.

If that isn't enough, then try connecting to the game server and play in real time against a human opponent. There are so many people that have already mastered this game, that are willing to hand out a whooping to any rookie that comes unprepared. So get your batting practice in, get some new gear, and get ready for one of the best games in the app store!!

This game is visually stunning, and the gameplay is dynamic, with animations of a sparking scoreboard and three views of hitting the ball at the perfect angle to launch it high into the stands.

I highly recommend this as A MUST HAVE GAME!! You Can Find This Game In The iTunes Store by Clicking Here: http://bit.ly/HRBattle3D
